Founder & Lead Experience Designer
Liz Colón founded Captured Celebrations after her daughter’s quinceañera — when she saw how a photo booth brought every generation together on the dance floor. What started as a passion project has grown into LA’s most awarded photo booth company: 500+ events, 91 five-star Google reviews, Best Wedding Photo Booth 2025, and features in the LA Times. Liz personally designs every custom template and trains every attendant. She speaks English and Spanish fluently and brings deep cultural understanding to every quinceañera, wedding, and corporate activation.

Meet Liz Colón
Captured Celebrations was born from a very personal moment: planning her daughter Rio’s quinceañera in 2022. As Liz searched for a photo booth company that truly understood what the day meant — culturally, emotionally, and as a family milestone — she couldn’t find one that felt right. The options were either generic, overpriced, or didn’t speak Spanish.
So she built one herself.
Captured Celebrations launched in 2023 with a simple mission: deliver premium photo booth experiences that honor the celebrations that matter most to Los Angeles families. From the very beginning, that meant being bilingual, being culturally competent, and caring about every detail the way a family member would.
What started as a passion project became one of LA’s fastest-growing photo booth companies. In under two years, Captured Celebrations earned back-to-back industry awards, built a portfolio of over 500 events, and became the trusted photo booth partner for brands including Adidas, Four Seasons, Funko, and the Conrad Hilton Foundation.
The company remains exactly what Liz set out to create: Latino-owned, woman-owned, bilingual, and built for the community it serves.

First one on-site and last one out. Handles setup, quality control, and whatever needs fixing before the doors open. The reason every booth looks exactly right when guests arrive.

Common Questions About Us
Is Captured Celebrations insured?
Yes — we carry general liability insurance with a $1 million per-occurrence limit. We can provide a certificate of insurance (COI) upon request and can add your venue as an additional insured at no extra cost.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes — our entire team is bilingual in English and Spanish. Spanish-speaking attendants are available at every booking at no extra charge. It's part of who we are, not an add-on.
Are you really local to Los Angeles?
Yes — we're based in La Crescenta, CA 91214, right in the Crescenta Valley. Our team lives and works in the communities we serve. When you book us, you're supporting a locally-owned, family-operated business.
How long has Captured Celebrations been in business?
We launched in early 2023 and have served over 500 events since. In under two years we earned back-to-back industry awards from the Snappic Booth Mastermind and were featured in the LA Times Latino Wedding Vendor Guide.
