Castle Green is a genuine turn-of-the-century landmark, a Moorish-Victorian castle built in 1898 as part of the grand Hotel Green complex in Pasadena. Today it operates as a private residential building and event venue cherished for its singular architectural character.
The ground floor event space features soaring ceilings, intricate woodwork, and a veranda and lawns. With capacity for approximately 200 guests, it's ideally suited for intimate gatherings, bohemian weddings, art exhibitions, and milestone celebrations that want a setting unlike any hotel ballroom or country club.
Castle Green has appeared in numerous films and television productions thanks to its unmistakable architectural identity. Its location in the heart of Old Town Pasadena puts guests steps from world-class restaurants, bars, and hotels for post-event festivities.
Photo booth rentals at Castle Green benefit from the venue's extraordinary visual texture: the Victorian arches, ornate columns, and warm amber tones create a one-of-a-kind photo backdrop. Our Oak booth suits this setting and complements the era beautifully.
