Can you put a photo booth outside?
Yes — our Open Air booth is specifically designed for outdoor events. We bring our own professional lighting and power supply. It is the most popular booth for outdoor weddings, garden parties, and festivals across LA.
What about wind and sun?
Direct sunlight can affect print quality and screen visibility. We recommend shade or a canopy for daytime events. Light wind is fine, but strong gusts can move backdrops and props. We secure everything with weights and sandbags for outdoor setups.
Do you need a tent?
A canopy or tent is recommended for the equipment, especially for daytime events or if there is any chance of weather. For evening events in dry conditions, a tent is not required but still helpful for creating a defined booth area.
Which booth types work outdoors?
Open Air (best for outdoors), Glam, and Roamer all work well outdoors. The 360 booth also works outside but needs a flat, level surface for the platform. Enclosed booths and Retro Mirror booths are better suited for indoor or covered spaces.
What about power outdoors?
We bring extension cords rated for outdoor use and can work with generator power. A standard 110V outlet within 50 feet is ideal. If the outdoor space has no outlets, we coordinate with the venue or recommend a quiet generator rental.
