Trunk or Treat 2025 — Best Trunk Winner

This was not a paid gig. Captured Celebrations sponsored a trunk at a local Trunk or Treat event as a way to give back to the community that has supported us since day one. We set up a full Open Air Photo Booth right at our trunk so kids and families could take free Halloween photos — no strings attached, no sales pitch, no email capture. Just free photos and a good time.

We went all in on the display: a dinosaur-themed trunk with a custom “Captured Celebrations Trunk or Treat 2025” template featuring pumpkins, bones, spiderwebs, and skulls. The kids lost their minds over the dinosaur setup, and the parents loved that their family could walk away with a high-quality Halloween photo for free. It was exactly the kind of evening we got into this business for.

And then the judges came around — and we won Best Trunk.

This event was not about leads or revenue. It was about showing up for our neighbors. The goals were simple:

• Let families experience what a Captured Celebrations photo booth feels like — a try-before-you-book moment
• Build brand awareness in the local neighborhood
• Have fun and celebrate Halloween with our community

We won Best Trunk at the event — which honestly still makes us smile. The dinosaur display, the photo booth, and the energy of the families all came together into something the judges recognized as the standout trunk of the night.

Dozens of families experienced the booth firsthand. Kids loved the dinosaur-plus-photo-booth combo, and parents were genuinely surprised by the print quality. Multiple families asked about booking us for birthday parties and quinceañeras on the spot — not because we pitched them, but because they saw the quality and thought of their own upcoming celebrations.

That is the kind of community goodwill that money cannot buy. No ad spend, no promo code, no funnel — just real people experiencing something real and wanting more of it for their families.
