The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa occupies a place in California history that no other event venue can claim. Built as a two-story adobe guesthouse in 1876 and expanded over four decades by visionary owner Frank Miller into a structure that now spans an entire city block in downtown Riverside, the Mission Inn is the largest Mission Revival-style building in the United States and a National Historic Landmark that has welcomed presidents, royalty, and the great figures of American culture for over 140 years.

President Theodore Roosevelt dedicated the building's Spanish Wing. President William Howard Taft, President Herbert Hoover, and President Richard Nixon all held events here. Ronald and Nancy Reagan honeymooned at the Mission Inn. The hotel's architectural grandeur — soaring domes, flying buttresses, wrought-iron balconies, arched corridors, and a rotunda with circular staircases beneath a sky-lit dome — creates an event backdrop of pure cinematic splendor.

The wedding chapels alone — a nondenominational chapel, a historic St. Cecilia Chapel, and outdoor Atrio — offer ceremony settings unlike any hotel in Southern California.
