About Oak Grove Ranch
Oak Grove Ranch is a 127-acre ranch in Hidden Valley, the quiet stretch of oaks and rolling hills between Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks. The Ash family has cared for the ranch since 1957, and it is still owner-operated today.
The ranch hosts weddings, private celebrations and corporate events, and it doubles as a film location. Its original buildings include the Milk House, a 1938 milking parlor that now serves as the bridal suite.

Our Event at Oak Grove Ranch: The Lamborghini Urus SE Launch
On Thursday, September 24, 2026, Captured Celebrations ran an Open Air photo booth for the Lamborghini Westlake Urus SE launch at Oak Grove Ranch. The booth stood on the patio beside event check-in, so it was the first thing guests saw on the way in.
We set the booth in front of a Timeless Drapery backdrop and designed a custom black and gold 2x6 strip for the night, with the corporate-approved Lamborghini Westlake logo and the line “URUS AT ITS PEAK”. Every guest took home a print, and guests could also get their photos by text. We printed 44 strips over the three-hour window, and the full gallery went to the client the next day.

Planning a Photo Booth at Oak Grove Ranch
Here is how the day actually ran at the ranch, so your team knows what to plan for.
Load-In Through the Main Entrance
Vendors came in through the main entrance and took the first driveway on the right to the loading area. We unloaded there, then moved the vehicle to the parking lot so the drive stayed clear for guests.
The Booth Spot on the Patio
Our booth stood on the patio beside event check-in, between the espresso cart and the restrooms, with the welcome drinks and pizza bar close by. Every guest walked past it on the way in.
Power at an Outdoor Ranch
We planned on one standard 110V 20 amp outlet within 25 feet of the booth. At an outdoor venue, confirm the outlet with the venue before the layout is final.
Timing Around a Car Reveal
The Urus reveal and LED wall were set by the pool, well away from the booth, so the two never competed. We were photo-ready before corporate guests arrived at 5:30 PM, went live at 5:55 PM, and the car was unveiled at 7:21 PM.
Event-Day Steps at Oak Grove Ranch
- Confirm the booth spot: Mark the booth on the venue layout. At Oak Grove Ranch ours was on the patio beside event check-in.
- Confirm power: Plan for one standard 110V 20 amp outlet within 25 feet of the booth position.
- Load in through the main entrance: Take the first driveway on the right to the loading area, unload, then move the vehicle to the parking lot.
- Set the booth and backdrop: Set the Open Air booth in front of the backdrop and run test photos and test prints.
- Be photo-ready before guests arrive: For the Urus SE launch we arrived about 4:00 PM and were ready before corporate guests arrived at 5:30 PM.
- Run the live window: Keep the booth running through the program. Our live window was 5:55 to 8:55 PM, with the car reveal at 7:21 PM.
