About The Culver Studios
The Culver Studios is a working film and television lot in Culver City. Silent film pioneer Thomas Ince built the studio in 1918, and Gone with the Wind is one of the productions made there. Today the campus is anchored by Amazon Studios.
The first building on the lot was The Mansion, a Colonial Revival building that overlooks a lawn. That lawn is where our booth stood for Amazon Ads x Nike.

On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, Captured Celebrations ran a trading card photo booth for Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day, Win Now. Win Together., produced by byREVL. The day's program was in The Culver Theater, and our booth was on the Culver Studios lawn at The Culver Mansion.
The booth stood on a wooden tripod in front of a vintage wooden locker set the event team built for the lawn. Guests picked basketball, soccer or tennis, and the AI placed them in that sport in about 7 seconds. Every guest got a printed 2.5x3.5 inch trading card in a protective sleeve.

Planning a Photo Booth at The Culver Studios
Here is how the day actually ran on the lawn, so your team knows what to plan for.
Load-In Through the Vendor Driveway
The vendor entrance for the Mansion lawn was the driveway at Ince and Washington. We loaded in at 10:00 AM and had the booth photo-ready by 12:30 PM, well ahead of the 3:00 PM start.
Studio-Lot Security and COI
This is a working studio lot. Every vendor needed an approved certificate of insurance on file with the venue before arrival, and call times were staggered so vendors were not all at the gate at once. Plan your paperwork early.
Power on an Outdoor Lawn
Power at our booth position came from the producer’s electrician, who dropped one standard 120V 20A outlet for us. If your event is on the lawn, ask your production team about power before the layout is final.
Dress Code and Day-Of Rules
The producer set an all-black dress code for vendor teams. We confirm rules like this with your producer during planning so our attendants arrive ready.
Event-Day Steps at The Culver Studios
- Send the COI: Get an approved certificate of insurance on file with The Culver Studios before event day. Every vendor needs one to pass studio-lot security.
- Enter through the vendor driveway: Load in through the vendor driveway at Ince and Washington, at the call time the producer assigns. Call times are staggered.
- Confirm power at the booth spot: Have the producer’s electrician drop one standard 120V 20A outlet at the booth position on the lawn.
- Set the booth and backdrop: Set the booth in front of the backdrop and run test photos, AI styles and test prints.
- Be photo-ready early: Be fully set well before guests arrive. For Amazon Ads x Nike we loaded in at 10:00 AM and were photo-ready by 12:30 PM.
- Run the live window: Guests move from the theater program to the lawn. Our live window was 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
