In short: A trading card photo booth photographs each guest and prints them onto a custom collectible card. For Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day (Win Now. Win Together.) on September 23, 2026, Captured Celebrations set up on the Culver Studios lawn in Culver City in front of a vintage locker set. Guests chose basketball, soccer or tennis, the booth turned them into that athlete with AI in about 7 seconds, and every guest left with a printed, sleeved card listing their team as Amazon Ads x Nike and their position as Brand Builder.
The Event
Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day, Win Now. Win Together., brought leaders from Nike and Amazon Ads together in Culver City for a day themed The Tradition of Fandom, built around Nike’s heritage with a modern take on sport in every detail. The day opened with content and conversation in The Culver Theater, then moved to the lawn at The Culver Mansion on The Culver Studios lot.
The event producer, byREVL, booked our trading card photo booth for the lawn. The brief: an interactive moment that felt like sport, fit a heritage locker room set, and gave a room full of executives something they would actually keep.
Setup
A Card Built on the Event Theme
The back of every card reads like a real athlete profile: Win Now. Win Together., jersey No. 26, team Amazon Ads x Nike, position Brand Builder, and stat bars for Brand, Business, Ad Tech and Measurement. We built the layout around the event team’s own artwork and matched the deep green to the rest of the day’s design.
Guests Picked Their Sport
Each guest chose basketball, soccer or tennis, and the booth placed them in that sport with generative AI: an arena under the lights, a stadium at dusk, a clay court. Guests who wanted to stay themselves got a classic photo in front of the locker set instead. Each AI photo was ready in about 7 seconds.
Shot in Front of a Vintage Locker Room
The event team built a wooden locker set for the lawn, stocked with leather footballs, a catcher’s mask, old cleats and green and gold jerseys. The booth stood right in front of it on a wooden tripod, so even the non-AI photos looked like a heritage team photo.
Printed and Sleeved on the Spot
Cards printed at the booth and went straight into a protective sleeve, so every guest walked back to the party holding a finished collectible with their name on the front.
Every AI Prop Tested Before the Day
We ran the AI styles against test photos in the days before the event and adjusted anything that did not read well. The first soccer version asked for a vintage leather ball and kept rendering it wrong, so we switched to a classic black and white ball before a single guest saw it.

The raw booth photo, before it goes on a card. The locker set did a lot of the work: studio lighting on warm wood, green and gold jerseys and an Amazon Ads helmet on the top shelf, so even guests who skipped the AI got a photo that looked like a heritage team portrait.
How the AI Trading Card Photo Booth Worked
- Pick a sport: The guest steps up to the booth in front of the vintage locker set and chooses basketball, soccer, tennis, or a classic photo with no AI.
- Take the photo: The booth photographs the guest under studio lighting against the locker set.
- Transform with AI: Generative AI places the guest in the chosen sport, in about 7 seconds: an arena, a stadium at dusk, or a clay court.
- Build the card: The photo drops into the custom Amazon Ads x Nike card with the guest name on the front and the Brand Builder athlete profile and stat bars on the back.
- Print and sleeve: The 2.5x3.5 inch card prints at the booth and goes into a protective sleeve.
- Hand it over: The guest walks back to the event holding a finished collectible card.
AI Sports Card vs Classic Locker Room Card
| AI sports card | Classic locker room card | |
|---|---|---|
| What the guest gets | A printed card showing them in their chosen sport | A printed card showing them in front of the locker set |
| Photo | Studio photo, restyled by generative AI | Studio photo, as shot |
| Scene | Basketball arena, soccer stadium or clay tennis court | Vintage wooden locker room |
| Time to the finished photo | About 7 seconds for the AI step | Instant |
| Best for | The wow moment and the talk of the lawn | Guests who want to look exactly like themselves |
Both options ran side by side at Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day, September 23, 2026.
Results
The booth was set and photo-ready by the 12:30 PM deadline and ran through the live window from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Midway through the afternoon the report from our attendants was simple: the clients loved the cards.
The printed card was the thing everyone wanted. Very few guests asked for a digital copy on the spot. They wanted the collectible in their hand, which is exactly what a heritage sports theme calls for. The full photo set went to the event team after the event.
That evening the producer asked to work together again on their next event, and asked for the same two attendants by name.
“Your attendants were so good. The photo booth was 10/10 for all guests! They were amazing with the execs and everyone was in love with the booth!”byREVL, event producer of Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day, September 23, 2026
Why Trading Cards Work for an Executive Audience
Senior guests have seen every photo booth. A card with their own name, a jersey number and a stat line is different. It is funny, it is personal, and it lands the event message without anyone reading a slide. “Position: Brand Builder” said more about the day than a banner could.
It also travels. A printed card goes back to the office and sits on a desk. If you are planning a brand activation or a corporate event with a sports angle, this is the format that gets kept.

What We Learned
Test every AI prop, not just every style. The vintage leather soccer ball looked right in the brief and wrong in every render, and we only knew because we ran the styles days ahead. And for an executive crowd, the physical card beats the digital file: plan the print station as the main event, not the extra.
Trading Card Photo Booth Questions
What is a trading card photo booth?
A trading card photo booth photographs each guest and prints them onto a custom 2.5x3.5 inch trading card with their name, your branding and a stat panel on the back. At Amazon Ads x Nike on September 23, 2026, every guest left with a printed card that listed their team as Amazon Ads x Nike and their position as Brand Builder.
Can a trading card photo booth use AI?
Yes. At Amazon Ads x Nike, guests chose basketball, soccer or tennis and the booth placed them in that sport with generative AI, ready in about 7 seconds, before printing the card. Guests who preferred a classic photo could skip the AI and shoot in front of the locker set instead.
Can the trading card match our event branding?
Yes. We build the card around your artwork, colors and theme. The Amazon Ads x Nike card carried the event line Win Now. Win Together., jersey No. 26, both brand marks, and custom stat bars for Brand, Business, Ad Tech and Measurement.
Do you bring trading card photo booths to Culver City studio lots?
Yes. The Amazon Ads x Nike activation ran on the Culver Studios lawn at The Culver Mansion, with a morning load-in and the booth photo-ready by 12:30 PM. We work within studio lot security, vendor COI requirements and set call times.
How fast is an AI trading card photo booth?
At Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day on September 23, 2026, each AI sports photo was ready in about 7 seconds, then printed onto a 2.5x3.5 inch card and sleeved at the booth. Guests who picked the classic non-AI photo got their card even faster.
Who ran the photo booth at Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day?
Captured Celebrations, a Los Angeles photo booth company, ran the AI trading card photo booth on the Culver Studios lawn for Amazon Ads x Nike Immersion Day on September 23, 2026. The event was produced by byREVL.
Do guests get a digital copy of their trading card?
Digital sharing is available at every trading card booth. At Amazon Ads x Nike the printed card was the clear favorite: guests wanted the physical collectible, and the full photo set went to the client after the event.
